The present invention relates to a vehicle of the scooter type in which the front body panel (10) is divided into three elements consisting of a front panel (14), of an intermediate panel (15) and of a rear panel (16). The upper end of the intermediate panel (15) extends upwards as far as the height corresponding to the part forming the top end of the front panel (14), and the front panel (14) is connected only to the front surface of the intermediate panel (15) and is not connected to the rear panel (16). The front part of the rear panel (16) is connected only to the rear surface of the intermediate panel (15).
