The circuit breaker comprises a switching means 30 for opening or closing a circuit supplying a user device, this switching means 30 closing the power supply circuit when it receives a first control pulse generated by a coded control means 20 actuated by a user and maintaining the said power supply circuit closed until reception of a second control pulse generated by control means 20, and means 40, R1-R3, for causing opening of the switching means 30 upon reception by the switching means of the second control pulse.
