The automatic heating device includes a dielectric sensor for sensing the temperature of steam generated and exhausted through an exhausting duct in case of cooking food, a sensor signal processing unit for outputting data according to the electrostatic capacity changed by a temperature sensor signal, and a control unit, which controls a system according to the cooking state, having a pulse width detecting means for detecting the pulse width of the output of the sensor signal processing unit, non-oscillation section detector for detecting the non-oscillation section of magnetron, a sensing point detecting unit for detecting the sensing point of the sensor signal processing unit, and a sensing point memory unit for memorizing the detected sensing point, thereby deciding finishing time automatically, and satisfactorily cooking food regardless of slight leakage of micro wave generated in case of the oscillation of the magnetron.
