In a washing machine which is provided with a water-level sensor and driven by means of the control of a microcomputer, the alarming circuit memorizes the initial frequency received from the water-level sensor in the initiation of water supply and compares, in a limited time, an input frequency received from the water-level sensor with the initial frequency so as to examine whether there is an abnormal water supply.
