This device for reinforcing the leafspring suspension of wheeled vehicles, intended especially for lightweight utility vehicles, has a reinforcing leaf (3), fastening clamps (6), centring means (4, 5) and buffers (4, 8, 11). The reinforcing leaf (3) matches the shape of an axle (1) of the vehicle and of one or more original leaves (2) at least close to the axle (1). The two regions where the clamps (6) are attached are situated on either side of the axle (1).
