Quick-mounting pot for furniture hinges, which is inserted at least partially into a clearance and exhibits a rotatable and/or pivotable operating element, a cross-sectional change in the quick-mounting pot taking place during rotation and/or pivoting of the same, which change is realised by the displacement of expansion segments, the two mutually opposite expansion segments being provided, for expansion purposes, with spindle-like threads into which associated threaded pins are screwed, one side having a left-handed thread and the other side having a right-handed thread.
