Mixing and application capsule, preferably for dental purposes

There is described a mixing and application capsule, preferably for dental fillers, with a mixing chamber containing one component and a film cushion containing the second component. The film cushion is mounted, and preferably it is welded or bonded, over a perforated wall. For activation, pressure is exerted upon the film cushion, so that it breaks and releases its contents into the mixing chamber. After mixing by means of a vibration mixer, a discharge nozzle is mounted over the film cushion on the perforated wall side of the capsule, the nozzle having on the side facing the capsule a mandrel for penetration of the film cushion. The capsule is emptied by the plunger forming the lid being advanced into the interior of the capsule, the material to be mixed escaping through the discharge nozzle due to the overpressure produced and being ready for application.
