The invention relates to a fresh air valve for supplying fresh air to an enclosed room. The valve comprises an inlet nozzle 4 for introducing the fresh air into the valve, a flow duct 5, an outlet nozzle 6 for supplying the fresh air from the valve to the enclosed room, and a filter 11 for filtering the air passing through the valve. According to the invention the valve design construction comprises a duct inside the window casement 1 fixed to the window frame 2, 3 and closed in relation to the space 12 between the window panes, the valve design construction including an air lock 5, the lower part of which is provided with a filter 11. <IMAGE>
