The apparatus improves the melt interface stability during continuous casting by accurately controlling the melt flow supply and melt height in the bath. The apparatus comprises (A) electromagnet cores (1) supported by the supporter (5) placed in the side of inflow nozzle (12); (B) copper tube (b) coiled on the electromagnet with coolant circulation hole (6a); (C) D.C. power supply to supply direct current to the copper tube; (D) transducer (3) and coolant supplier (4).
