<p>Box (1) or blank and method for the manufacture of a box of sheet material comprising a top part (6) and sides (3, 4). The box comprises at least two frangible or recessed areas (11), located on either side of the box and straddling the junction lines between the top part and the two opposite sides, and an elongated handle (16) secured at each end to said opposite sides, below the areas with respect to the top part. The handle extends opposite said areas and the top part portion located therebetween, so that when the handle is pulled at right angles to the lid, the handle engages into said areas.</p> |
