An adjustable snow-making tower (10) including a vertical support pole (11) anchored into the ground (12) and having a support pipe (13) coaxially received thereover. A support arm (14) is pivotally connected to the pipe (13) for pivotal movement substantially from horizontal to vertical. A tower (16), having air and water discharge nozzles (18, 17) at its upper end and air and water supply connections (21, 22) at its lower end, is supported adjacent its lower end to this support arm (14) for pivotal movement therewith. A lock mechanism (24) is provided for temporarily locking the support arm (14) in any preselected vertical position between horizontal and vertical, and a drive mechanism (31) is also provided to assist in vertically raising or lowering the tower (16) together with the support arm (14) about the support arm pivot (15). The support arm (14) may also be utilized to pick up and support a snow gun (47) in addition to or in substitution of the elongated pipe snow-making tower (16).
