The subject-matter of the invention is an apparatus for final shaping in a plant for the production of a tube. The apparatus shapes a steel strip into the form of a tube as it passes through a plurality of groups of shaping-roll stands (30) and welds the edges together by means of a seam-welding unit (2), cuts the bead of the welded tube by means of a weld bead cutter (31) and works the tube into the final shape with a desired diameter and a completely round form.
