The present invention relates to a road-heating method and also to a bed material provided therefor, making it possible to place the concrete layer which surrounds the heating elements in an extremely short time, irrespective of the form and shape of the building surface, increasing the thawing efficiency over that of conventional concrete layers. To solve this object, the method of the present invention comprises measures in which an adiabatic bottom layer is formed by depositing gravel on the bottom of an excavation, and a material made of thin aluminium foil is arranged on the surface of this gravel layer, then a mesh material is laid out on the surface of the material made of the said aluminium foil and heating elements are laid on, then a water-permeable thin film material is laid on the said heating elements and subsequently an adiabatic top layer is produced by arranging dry sand and cement thereabove in a mixing ratio of about 3:1, and finally finishing surface-coating materials are applied to this adiabatic top layer. In order to improve the condition of the installation, the abovementioned aluminium material which is arranged on the botom may, for example, have aluminium foil strip with a thickness of 0.5 to 1.5 mm and a width, extending from the top downwards, of 3 to 7 mm, which is formed in a spiral shape with a length of 5 to 15 mm; furthermore, ... can ... for the increase of the ...
