Seed drill

A seed drill has a funnel-shaped seed container, which possesses a rigid cover and a central ground outflow with a metering member, and seed coulters on a trailing coulter rail as well as a pneumatic conveying device. The latter has a transfer chamber following the ground outflow of the container and having an injector, a following central riser conduit with a distributor head arranged at its upper end and seed conduits which follow the distributor head and lead rearwards and to each of which a seed coulter is connected. In order to cut off individual seed conduits, provision is made for arranging the distributor head above the cover and the seed conduits outside the container, and for at least one seed conduit to have a switch cooperating with an orifice in the cover in such a way that the seed can selectively be fed to the seed coulter or returned through the orifice into the container.
