The invention relates to an appliance for cleaning persons wearing dust-covered work clothing. It consists of a booth with a movable blowing device arranged in the latter and for blowing against the persons. Underneath the booth floor there is a cavity for receiving the dust-laden air, the said cavity being connected to a suction-extraction device. So that even very fine dusts can be removed from the work clothing, an endless brush device fitted with a plurality of brush segments is arranged on an outer wall of the booth in such a way that the bristles of the brush segments project into the booths. <IMAGE>
