The color correction device includes color recording means for printing an image on a recording medium after converting red, green, and blue (RGB) signals of an input image to cyan, yellow, and magenta (CMY) signals of color, a first converting means for converting the RGB video signals of the image input after being read from an original image, into hue, lightness, and saturation (HLS) color property signals for a color correction, a correcting means for storing a predetermined coefficient of the HLS and outputting corrected H1, L1, and S1 color property signals after correcting the HLS signals according to the stored predetermined coefficient of the HLS corresponding to the HLS signals input from the first converting means, a second converting means for converting the H1, L1, and S1 signals to R1, G1, and B1 video signals to change the R1, G1, and B1 video signals into the CMY color signals, and for inputting the R1, G1, and B1 video signals to the color recording means.
