PURPOSE:To make the lower limit level of illuminating light horizontal by abolishing one part of the lens step of an outer lens, and partially disposing an inner lens perpendicular to an optical axis, the inner lens constituting the lens step abolished. CONSTITUTION:Forward illuminating light of a lamp is incident on the diffusion step of either an inner lens 12 or an outer lens 5 and is diffused by then diffusion structure of both of the said lenses so that the forward illuminating light corresponds to a predetermined light distribution pattern. Then both the upper side and lower side of the light distribution pattern, on which sides the effect of curvature is caused by the lens thrust theta of the outer lens 5, form the predetermined light distribution pattern by means of respective diffusion stepped portions 14, 15 of the inner lens 12 provided perpendicular to an optical axis (f). In addition, the headlamp device is so formed that at the outer lens 5 light simply passes through flat lens portions 10,11; the problem of curvature is thereby solved. Thus a desirable light distribution pattern whose lower edge portion becomes roughly rectilinear is obtained. |
