PURPOSE:To easily define and execute an optional deformation by defining a shape expressed with plural control points for forming a free curved surface as the basic shape of an object and setting deformation rules corresponding to plural deformation commands for deforming the basic shape. CONSTITUTION:The shape expressed with the plural control points for forming the free curved surface is defined as the basic shape so as to be stored in a basic shape storage part 1. The deformation rules respectively corresponding to the plural deforma tion commands for deforming the basic shape are defined so as to be stored in a deformation rule storage part 2. In case of deformation to display the object, a deformed shape forming part 4 reads out the deformation rule corresponding to the specified deformation command from the deformation rule storage part 2 by operating a specification part 3. According to the deformation rule and a parameter, the control points which should be moved, out of plural control points constituting of the basic shape of the object, are selected and forms the shape by moving them. A displayed shape forming part 5 generates the free curved surface to form the displayed shape based on the deformed shape. Thus, the object can be easily and freely deformed so as to be displayed. |
