PURPOSE:To cut dry bread accurately by furnishing a tube removing part which cuts off tubes, and installing removably a rule for cutting having a plurality of locating recesses which locks cutting machines in the dry bread specified dimension cutting position while installed parallelly on one side of a rail. CONSTITUTION:When a plurality of tubes 4 are cut off by a tube removing part 70, cutting machines 41, 42 are moved onto a cutting board 24, and the cutting machine 41 is locked by a lock handle 58 at that location recess 57A in a cutting rule 55 which serves as the cutting reference nearer supporting rods 29, 30. Thereby an air cylinder 49 is operated to align the end of long dry bread W and cut it, and this condition is held. Therein cutting is made while the back 51a of the cutting edge 51 is made facing the longer side, and associate with sinking of the cutting edge 51, a holding member 60 fixed thereto holds the bread W with its holding plate 65 as the cutting edge 51 cuts the bread further, with no risk of breaking the bread at the top, and if cutting proceeds further, a spring 63 is compressed to prevent the bread from hopping up. |
