Prepn. of directly standardised milk or cream with different fat contents comprises collecting 4% homogenised milk, 0.06% milk froth and 40% non-homogenised cream at a dairy in 3 different cleaned and sterilised compartments in /- 1 refrigerated stainless steel tanker trailer coupled together. The trailer is driven to a school, housing area or business premises where the customer chooses the fat content of their milk by pressing buttons for 0.06, 0.5, 1.5, 3, 4 or 40% fat content and the amt. of milk needed. Valves and flow and vol. measuring devices are used to dispense the milk from 1-6 dispensing stations into 2-5 litre stainless steel milk churns e.g., for 1 litre non-homogenised 20% cream the tanker mixes 0.5 l 40% cream with 0.5 l milk froth. |
