QUASI-PARALLEL IF WITH SHARED SAW FILTER

The present invention is directed to a low audio buzz television signal processing system. Both the video IF signal and the sound IF signal are filtered by a shared SAW filter without requiring an additional surface acoustic wave (SAW) device for IF sound processing. The required Nyquist slope of the video signal is provided by a contour filter for applying a Nyquist slope characteristic.
