PURPOSE:To realize chamfering that is efficient and of high precision and whose cycle time is short by conducting the chamfering grinding of both ends of a work when a table rotating intermittently has conducted dividing stop, carrying out, at the same time, the carrying in, turning over and carrying out of the work in synchronization. CONSTITUTION:This intermittent rotation table type chamfering device for chamfering the ridge line of a work consisting of a sintered brittle material is provided with plural jigs 9 at equally divided positions on a table 4 rotated intermittently, and is provided in the periphery of the table 4 with a carrying in device 5, a grinding device 6, a turning over device 7, a grinding device 13 and a carrying out device 8 in order. The carrying in device 5 is made up by providing a chuck at the tip of an arm that is moved up and down and conducts plane rotation and swing by means of a cam mechanism, and each of the turning over device 7 and the carrying out device 8 is provided, likewise, with a chuck at the tip of an arm that conducts vertical movement, plane rotation and swing by means of a cam mechanism, and action is carried out by synchronizing the carrying in device 5, the grinding devices 6, 13, the turning over device 7 and the carrying out device 8 according to the intermittent rotation of the table 4. |
