<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a false image removing apparatus for a radar in which multiple false images included in a video can be easily removed even by one radar. CONSTITUTION:Whether a target video received by a transceiver part 3 is moved or not is judged by a moving video deciding part 5. When moving, a pseudo-false image forming part 9 obtains a width of a target based on the length of the target based on the characteristics point of the target video and the course of the target and a ship width coefficient. A pseudo false image in which the target video is moved corresponding to the width of the target in parallel with a radiating direction of a radio wave from a radar antenna 1 perpendicularly to the course of the target is formed. A false image range determining part 13 determines a range to be superposed with the videos as a false image of multiple reflection according to the structure of the target based on a characteristic point of the pseudo false video and the characteristic point of the target video, and displays it by removing a false image part of the target video received by a false image removing part 14.</p> |
