PURPOSE:To remove admixture in water flowing from two directions. CONSTITUTION:Admixture in water flowing from one direction are caught by a cylindrical filter member 24 on the outer peripheral surface on one side. A stop valve 15 is opened to make a backwash port 26 positioned on the outer peripheral surface of the filter member 24 communicate with a discharge part and the filter member 24 is rotated, causing the admixture on the surface of the filter member 24 to be washed and discharged by backwash operation. Since the filter member 24 is cylindrical, the impurities are caught even if flowing water in either of two directions is generated, enabling the maintenance of the filter member 24 by backwashing without replacing the filter member 24. |
