A cap assembly (2) for a jerry can (4) having a spout (6), the assembly including a cap (8) which is pivotably coupled to the spout, a first locking member (10) which is pivotably connected to the cap and having two fingers (27, 29) which interlock brackets (11, 12) on the spout, the assembly including a locking pin (30) which interengages the cap (8) and locking member (10) to prevent movement of the locking member, the arrangement being such that the pin (30) must first be rotated and then pulled clear of the cap (8) before the locking member can be rotated to enable removal of the cap (8) from the spout (6). |
