PURPOSE:To minimize the generation of a printing deficient product by dividing the printing area corresponding to repeat length into a plurality of blocks to determine the order of the blocks and latching in the fundamental images at the time of normal printing of the respective blocks to store the same and successively comparing a printing state with each of the fundamental images at every divided block according to the order of the blocks at every one repeat length. CONSTITUTION:The range of (repeat length X printing width) is divided into a plurality of blocks and the order of the blocks is determined. According to this order, the fundamental image at the time of normal printing is stored at every block. A fabric to be printed after the completion of printing is set to the position just under a repeat length detector. At first, it is confirmed that a CCD camera is present at an origin position and the inspection of the block (a) is performed simultaneously with the stop of an endless belt to latch the inspection image. The endless belt is intermittently fed simultaneously with the completion of inspection. During this period, the inspected image of the block (a) is compared with a fundamental image and, when there is no abnormality, the CCD camera is moved to the block (b). When there is abnormality, an abnormal block is displayed to emit an alarm for stopping a printing machine. |
