PURPOSE:To eliminate jammed paper produced in a conveyor route changeover part easily as well as to improve the extent of working properties. CONSTITUTION:In a paper conveyor route changeover unit installing a selector claw 11 being selected by on-off operation of a solenoid 12 in a branch part 7 of a conveyor route, and guiding paper into either of two conveyor routes 16 and 17 from the branch part downward, in the case where a paper jam has occurred in both these conveyor routes 16 and 17 at a time when the solenoid 12 is turned on, the solenoid 12 is made into a state of being turned off at an interval of up to the cover on of a device body since the jam has occurred, and during the cover open, the solenoid 12 is controlled so as to keep the solenoid 12 turned on intact. |
