PURPOSE:To execute image-forming coping with a sheet document and a book document. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a 1st read means 200 reading the book document and turning the page of the read book document in a 1st document read mode; a 2nd read means reading the sheet document in a 2nd document read mode; an image forming means 501 forming the image read by the 1st and the 2nd read means; and a selection means 99 selecting either the 1st or the 2nd document read mode. The selection by the selecting means is executed in the case of warmup or standby. |
