PURPOSE:To simply, efficiently joint the ends of two ducts by a method wherein a beltlike heat-insulating material is laid on one side of a sheetlike covering material, and an adhesive material is attached on the same side of the covering material so that the adhesive material can be stuck on the other side of the sheetlike covering material. CONSTITUTION:To join two or more air conditioner ducts 1a and 1b, a cover joint 3 is wound around the external circumferences of the ducts with a retaining material 7 inside so that a heat-insulating material 6 is laid over both ducts 1a and 1b. The position of a tentative adhesive tape 11 as an adhesive material is overlapped on the external side of the covering material 5 of the cover joint 3. Thereby, a tongue flap 8 is adhered on the external side of the covering material 5 by the tentative adhesive tape 11 and the cover joint 3 is tentatively fixed on the ducts 1a and 1b. In this state, a tape is laid over the tongue flap 8 and the covering material 5 located outside the stretch of the tongue flap 8 and tapes are adhered over two or more tongue flaps 9 and 10 and the external circumferential surfaces of the ducts 1a and 1b located outside the stretch of the tongue flaps 9 and 10. |
