PURPOSE:To obtain a material capable of exhibiting excellent flame retardancy while possessing soundproofing properties, cushioning properties, vibration absorption properties, etc. CONSTITUTION:A mat layer 14 is formed by interlacing coconut fibers 12 into a nonwoven fabric state or a three dimensional network state. A flame retardant 16 is stuck to the mat layer 14 by coating. The flame retardant 16 is obtained by blending a mixed solution of a flame retardant consisting essentially of an organic phosphorus compound and a sealing agent consisting essentially of a melamine resin with a curing promoter consisting essentially of an acidic substance. A covering layer 22 composed of a wood board 22A is laminated to the mat layer 14. |
