PURPOSE:To accurately operate a timing valve by finding the car speed in downshift, the time from the speed change command recognizing time, and the weighted sum of the input, and operating a timing valve when the sum exceeds the threshold. CONSTITUTION:When a speed change timing switching control means (d) outputs the speed change command to a switching actuator (e), a frictional clamping means is operated, and the speed change stage is switched. When the speed change command from the switching control means (d) to the switching actuator (e) is recognized by a recognizing means (b) in order to perform the specific downshift in the speed change, the car speed, the elapsed time from the recognized time and the information related to the engine output are input and weighted by a weighting means (h), so as to find the sum. When the weighted sum exceeds the threshold, a timing control means (i) judges the position just before the rotational synchronization of a transmission and outputs a control signal to the switching actuator (e) to make a timing valve (g) perform the specific operation. Thus, shock of the speed change and racing of the engine are prevented. |
