<p>PURPOSE:To remove the astringency of astringent persimmons or dried persimmons packed in an astringency eliminating chamber by regulating temperature of the astringency eliminating chamber of a single box and supplying a vaporized alcohol to the chamber. CONSTITUTION:A single box 1 is provided with a wall plate 2a and a porous plate 2b to form an astringency eliminating chamber 16 and circulating passageways 4a and 4b. The astringency eliminating chamber 16 is filled with astringent persimmons, set at 36-38 deg.C and moisture evolved in the astringency eliminating chamber 16 is discharged to the outside of the chamber. Then, an intake vent and an exhaust vent are closed, an vaporized alcohol is sent to the astringency eliminating chamber, absorbed in pores of astringent persimmons. After closing of pores, the vapored alcohol is continuously supplied at a given temperature to the astringency eliminating chamber to completely remove the stringency of persimmons.</p> |
