PURPOSE:To obtain a method for manufacturing a plastic lens in which the lens can be easily attached to or detached from a holder for annealing, stably held by so placing the lens in a lens holder with a concave of the lens is directed upward and its outer peripheral edge is brought into contact with a lens placing part, and no lens deformation occurs at the time of annealing. CONSTITUTION:Plastic lenses 31A, 31B to be annealed are respectively placed in tapered lens placing parts 12A, 12B, and so placed that lower surfaces of their peripheral edge are supported to the lens placing parts. Then, the lenses to be placed in lens holders and annealed are annealed under predetermined conditions, the conditions are varied according to whether the lenses are molded and released or coated, and further varied according to a material of the lenses, molding conditions, coating material and curing conditions, etc. For example, the annealing temperature and time are 20-130 deg.C and 30min-12 hours in the case of polyurethane lenses. |
