PURPOSE:To realize the harmless state of high safety for a long time and almost neglect the increase of weight by adding water to heavy metal containing ash, also adding an acid or alkali containing OH to form the given pH, and then adding acid and bivalent iron and setting the pH of a mixture at a given value. CONSTITUTION:A hydroxide is formed by adding water into heavy metal containing ash, and also adding an acid or alkali containing OH to form pH9-12. Acid and bivalent iron are added to a mixture of wet state to disperse both components uniformly in the mixture and the pH of the mixture is adjusted to 6.0-8.5 to crystalline gradually bivalent iron and turn the same into ferrite. In the process that a heavy metal contained in a waste is eluted first into acidic water and then the ionized heavy metal is reacted with a bivalent iron in the mixture to form a crystal lattice of an iron oxide called as ferrite, the heavy metal is taken into a position, in which an iron atom is to be positioned primarily, in place of iron and solidified therein. |
