摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To realize the control of tension between stands and thickness control of high responsiveness and precision. CONSTITUTION:Thickness deviation is determined by comparing the detected value of thickness with a thickness gage 14 between a stand 2 on the upstream side and a stand 4 on the downstream side with the target value of thickness, the changing quantity of mill speed of the stand on the upstream side for maintaining mass flow on the outlet side of the stand on the downstream side based on that deviation is operated and this changing quantity of mill speed is added to a mill speed controller 10 as a correction signal. The mill speed of the stand is changed and also, to maintain the tension between stands at a prescribed value to the fluctuation in the tension between stands by changing the mill speed of the stand on the upstream side, the correction of screw-down position of the stand on the downstream side is operated by PID operation for example, from the tension between stands that is detected with that tension gage 18 between the stands and the target value of tension and the screw-down position of the stand 4 on the down-stream side is corrected with a screw-down position controller 12 based on that result.</p>
