A microporous surface structure permeable to water vapour and absorptive to water is formed by impregnating a textile fabric or fleece with a solution of a mixture of high molecular compounds with active H atoms, polyisocyanates, catalysts, a (halogenated) hydrocarbon with a b.p. over 100 degrees C dispersed in the solution and other usual additives such as fillers, dyes, etc., the solvent is removed by evaporation and after hardening the reactive mixture the (halogenated) hydrocarbon is removed from the resulting surface structure. Further layers of reactive, solvent-free mixtures of similar composition may be applied and hardened. |
