PURPOSE:To prevent splashing away of grains to a recovering container by providing the bottom of a container housing the grains, water, etc., with a valve for changing over in the case of storing or discharging contents and providing the part near this valve with draining body on which water falls together with the grains. CONSTITUTION:This grain washing device is arranged with a rice storage section and a washing section successively from the upper side. The washing tank 1 which is the container of the washing section is formed to a hollow tank which is open at the front surface and is formed fine at the bottom end. Agitating bodies 12 having an axial center in a vertical direction are built in the central tank of the washing tank 1. The agitating bodies 12 are formed integrally with a revolving cylinder 13 rotated by a motor and transmission mechanism and a shaft 18 for vertically moving the valve is inserted into this revolving cylinder 13. The bottom end of this shaft 18 for vertically moving the valve is provided with a valve 2 for closing a discharge port 20. The draining body 3 having a draining part 24 bent at both ends to a peak shape (0<theta<180 deg.) is mounted to the bottom end of the valve 2. The splashing away of the grains into the recovering container is prevented by this draining body 3. |
