PURPOSE:To provide an image reader by which image data can be freely edited in spite of document size and productivity can be heightened. CONSTITUTION:This reader is constituted of memory 1 which stores input image data, a pattern generation circuit 5 which outputs another image data, an address counter 2 which reads out the image data in the memory 1, a first image data selection signal forming means 3 which forms a control signal to select the image data from the present memory address of the counter 2 and a preset memory address, a second image data selection signal forming means 4 which generates a control signal to select another image data from a transfer set value to transfer prescribed amount of another image data and the present number of transfer of another image data, and a data selection circuit 7 which outputs the image data from the memory 1 or another image data in a data generating means 5 as print data by selection signals from both selection signal forming means 3, 4. |
