PURPOSE:To reduce noise, and decrease the number of part items by connecting second lamp socket to a discharge lamp device in a second wiring passage comprising a pair of diverted flow lines surrounding a lamp and a first lamp socket. CONSTITUTION:A first wiring passage 3 comprises a lead wire connected to one output end of a discharge lamp lighting device 1 and a lamp receiving metal part 9' of a first lamp socket 2 by spot welding or the like. A second wiring passage 4 comprises a pair of diverted flow lines 6, 7 connected to the other output end of the device 1 and a branch connection part 11 provided at a lamp receiving metal part 9 of a second lamp socket 2' by welding or the like. This passage 4 is formed to surround a lamp 5 and the socket 2, so noise is reduced, and because the connection part 11 is provided in the socket 2' directly, the number of part items is reduced, with wiring work facilitated. Since the connection part 11 having a wire connection part separately from the receiving metal parts 9, 9' is provided at each of the socket 2, 2', the number of parts is further reduced, and work is facilitated further. |
