<p>PURPOSE:To provide a desulfurization apparatus which performs its function efficiently, does not produce waste water to be discharged, and is inexpensive. CONSTITUTION:A desulfurization agent 2 is fed into a boiler 10 to make primary-stage desulfurization take place therein. The apparatus is equipped with a dust collector 20 for removing dust from the gases discharged from the boiler 10, with a water sprinkler 40 for removing sulfur oxides from the gases discharged from the dust collector 20, and with a spray drier 30 which is disposed in the flue between the boiler 10 and the dust collector 20 and sprays in the flue part 43 of the discharged water from the water sprinkler 40. The collected matter 21 at the dust collector 20 may be mixed with part 63 of the discharged water, fed to an upstream point of the spray drier 30, or conveyed to the water sprinkler 40.</p> |
