<p>PURPOSE:To provide a compact treatment device for medial plastic waste which can treat the medical waste plastic to the extent of being disposed as refuse in general, and i.n which restrictions are little for a site to be built on and the bad effect to the environment is not generated. CONSTITUTION:A melting tank 101 of a heat melting device is divided into two tank stages, upper and lower (101A and 101B), and while medical waste plastic is agitated successively by an upper stage agitating element 106 and a lower stage agitating element 108 in the two melting tanks, the waste plastic is heated and melted by heaters 110, 132, 114 and 116 to separate into solidified plastic and gas. The solidified plastic is in the state of being disposable as refuse in general. The separated gas is neutralized and deodorized through the tar removing process, alkali treatment and acid treatment and exhausted into atmosphere. The time of melting the plastic can be shortened by the arrangement, and the diffusion of gas from the waste plastic can be acclerated. The whole of a treatment device, therefore, can be made compact.</p> |
