An overcap 50 is detachably secured by means of its flange 54, 56 to the rim 17 of a container 10, the overcap 50 comprising a disc 59 which is rotatable so as to bring its openings 61 (only one shown) into and out of register with a pour opening 60, the openings 61 being angularly spaced and of differing sizes, so as to vary the product dispensing pattern through the pour opening. The disc 59 may have a boss or stopper (39), Fig. 3 (not shown), on its underside which seats in hole 60 when the disc is in the "closed" position. The container may have a tear-off end panel 18 which is removed before the overcap 50 is applied, or may have an end panel 18 removable by use of a can opener. |
