The traction device according to the invention comprises two frames, namely one frame in the shape of a letter U and the other frame in the shape of an inverted letter V. The frame in the shape of an inverted letter V comprises two bars 1, 2 which meet in the hinge 3 via their upper parts. The bar 2 pulls on the bar 1 which remains fixed by a system of serrations (teeth) 5. The hinge 3, which has a circular shape, is made up of the upper end of the bar 1 on which there is a serration 5. Situated in the centre of this circular shape is the axis 4 of the bar 2, which pivots about this axis. At its upper level which crosses the serration 5 of the bar 1, the bar 2 has a small hook permitting its non-return during traction. <IMAGE>
