The invention relates to a cutting machine. The machine includes a mobile support (1-8) which carries, with a capacity for pivoting about a longitudinal axis (9), a structure (10-13) which is telescopic in a direction perpendicular to the said axis and which carries a cutting head (T), characterised in that the machine includes a device with twofold longitudinal translation, which comprises a carriage (14) that can be moved longitudinally on the telescopic structure and a longitudinal rail (16) carried by this carriage, and on which the cutting head slides, and means (15, 20) for controlling the movement of the carriage and for controlling the sliding of the cutting head.
