<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of repairing work at a part on the wall of a building where a fixing metal is fixed by actuating a mechanism for relaxing tension when the external tension exceeds a preset maximum allowable level. CONSTITUTION:The tension relaxing unit 1 has one end 3 which can be fixed to other member and the other end 2 which can be fixed to a member different from the other member. The tension relaxing unit 1 comprises an outer tube 4, an inner tube 5, and tension relaxing mechanisms 6-20. When external tension exceeds a preset maximum allowable level, the mechanisms 6-20 are actuated to relax tension without resisting. When a service wire 2 is led into a building from a main line, for example, the tension relaxing unit is fixed to an anchor 3 in order to protect the anchoring part against fracture.</p> |
