PURPOSE:To avoid the erroneous recognition of a speaker by registering voices of participants and comparing them with the voice of the speaker to specify and display the speaker and enabling partitipantsc to discriminate the speaker. CONSTITUTION:Each participant introduces himself at the beginning of a conference. On the reception side, this selfintroduction is stored as voice data in a communication destination information storage part 8 through a communication destination recognizing part 7. Simultaneously, the name of a speaking participant is inputted to the storage part 8 and is stored as the relation table between the name and the voice data on the reception side. When the other party speaks, the recognizing part 7 receives this voice signal to compare it with voice data in the storage part 8 and detects the name of the speaker. This name is sent to a communication destination display part 5 and is displayed on a monitor screen. Consequently, the participant on the reception side recognizes the speaker based on the name displayed on the monitor. |
