PURPOSE:To provide an auxiliary battery charger for electric automobile in which the size and the number of components can be reduced without requiring an additional DC-DC converter providing the control power supply for a DC-DC converter by utilizing the low charging voltage of auxiliary battery in an electric automobile. CONSTITUTION:The auxiliary battery charger 27 for electric automobile comprises a main battery 12, a DC-DC converter 28, an auxiliary battery 20, a vehicle auxiliary machine 21, and a switch. The DC-DC converter 28 comprises a transformer 13, a rectifier circuit 14, a transistor 16, an insulation transformer 17, and a control circuit 25 connected through a switch with the auxiliary battery 20 which feeds a voltage to the control circuit 25. |
