PURPOSE:To provide a pointing device in which coordinates on a picture display can be directly indicated in an equipment having the picture display. CONSTITUTION:Different acoustic waves are transmitted from three transmitting parts of a picture display 6, received by the three receiving parts of an operating part 1, a distance difference is calculated based on a reaching time difference, and the three-dimensional positions and attitudes of the operating part are calculated from the distance difference. Thus, the point of the picture display indicated by the operating part 1 can be obtained. |
