PURPOSE:To immediately set a service state just after a hand set is picked up without any dead time when making a telephone call utilizing an on-hook function. CONSTITUTION:Concerning the cordless telephone set in which a call between a master unit and a hand set is enabled by closing a radio path, this telephone set is provided with a dial operation part installed at the master unit, an on- hook switch 10 for switching to an on-hook mode to make dial call originating possible while receiving a call by a monitor speaker 2, an on-hook detecting means for detecting the operation of the on-hook switch 10, and a radio path closing means for closing the radio path between the master unit and the hand set based on the detection output of the on-hook detecting means. |
