<p>PURPOSE:To save the power without lowering system performance by switching frequency while monitoring the working rate of a CPU of an electronic computer. CONSTITUTION:This system is provided with a working rate monitoring means 1 for monitoring the working rate of the CPU, frequency switching conditions 3 as conditions for switching the frequency of the CPU, frequency switching means 2 for switching the frequency of the CPU when the working rate of the CPU satisfies the frequency switching conditions, frequency switching frequency monitoring means 4 for monitoring the frequency of frequency switching due to this frequency switching means 2, and frequency switching condition changing means 5 for changing the frequency switching conditions when the frequency switching frequency satisfies the frequency switching conditions. Thus, power can be saved without extremely lowering the system performance by switching the frequency of the CPU based on the working rate of the CPU.</p> |
